Monaco Tourism and Monte-Carlo SBM hosted a group of travel agents and media and their partners last weekend as a prelude to the “Shakedown” cruise of Silversea Cruise’s brand new ship the Silver Muse.
Participants from 10 lucky travel agencies and three media guests and their partners were hosted for the weekend at Monte-Carlo SBM’s luxurious Hotel Hermitage. The group of 31 visited the SBM Resort, went sightseeing and were wined and dined at some of Monaco’s famed restaurants and bistros.
Alison Roberts-Brown, Regional Director of Monaco Government Tourist Bureau said: “This is our biggest fam trip ever! It’s been a fantastic chance to showcase the Principality. Many Australians don’t think of Monaco a place to stay overnight, there is so much to see and do here that many day trippers simply miss out. Pre and post cruise stays are a great opportunity for Australians to enjoy all that Monaco offers. With the news of Emirates expanded service into Nice International airport from 1 Jul, from 777 to A380, we have even more reason to be excited, access is so easy. We were delighted to host this exceptional group and to work with the wonderful team at Silversea Cruise.”
The group departed Monaco for Genoa where they will be the first to board the Silver Muse.
