“Dinner in the Sky Monte-Carlo®” as the name suggests is a concept that takes diners up into the sky for their meal. From 7 to 16 July 2017 a daily lunch and two dinners will be offered at 50 metres above the iconic Grand Casino in Monte-Carlo.
A nacelle pod that holds up to 22 people will be hoisted into the sky on the terrace of the Monte-Carlo Casino. Only 600 lucky guests will be able to experience the thrill of dining in the air.
The preparation of the dishes will be done in the sky in front of the guests. The chefs will be cooking in a special space installed in the centre of the platform. Meals will be prepared by well renowned chefs of Michelin and French award (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) status, the line-up includes Marcel Ravin (Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel, one Michelin star), Benjamin Collombat (Château de Berne Hotel, one Michelin star), Arnaud Faye (La Chèvre d’or, Eze Village), Arnaud Tabarec (Sea Sens at Five Seas Hotel, Cannes, one Michelin star), David Hemmerlé (Four Seasons Hotel Moscow), Jérôme De Oliveira (World Pastry Champion), Jérôme Rigaud (Yacht Club of Monaco), Paolo Sari (Elsa at Monte-Carlo Beach, one Michelin star) Philippe Joannès (Fairmont Monte-Carlo- Meilleur Ouvrier de France) and Yannick Franques (Reserve in Beaulieu).
The concept of dining in the sky is experiencing a growing success. It has already travelled around the world and has been organised in major capitals and cities of the world, Paris, Brussels, Las Vegas, New York and Vancouver to name a few. The location selected in Monaco will provide 360° views of the Principality and allow guests to admire Monaco’s famous sights such as the Prince’s Palace, the legendary Casino, the port, the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea and the endless horizon.
Reservations will be accepted for a minimum of 2 people per booking. Guests will be provided with a transfer service from the place of their accommodation in Monaco or her surrounds to the restaurant. Helicopter transfers will be possible from St-Tropez, Geneva and Corsica. A VIP-welcome will be offered to guests on arrival at the terrace of the Casino. The fully inclusive price is €990 per person (including private transfers, cocktail, gastronomic dinner and drinks).

I enjoyed all of the modules. To be honest, Monaco has always held an air of mystery to me – a playground for the rich and famous, and not so much for the average person like me. Now I appreciate so much more about the region. It was great to get a better understanding of all that Monaco entails.
I wanted to thank you for hosting me to LAC on Saturday night. It really was a very special night and reflected the elegance and glamour that I always associate with Monaco.
Very good and I’ve now done the 3 modules – great break in the day. Good on you for creating Alison.
Hi there Alison and Yukiko, I hope you’re both well. This is just a short note to say thank you so much to both of you for your assistance for my recent trip to Tokyo. I had an amazing time, collected material for so many stories, and both of the hotels were really incredible properties, both perfect for Traveller.
